Ultrahuman M1 Dubai Launch
Ultrahuman approached us to edit a video for the launch of their M1 patch in the middle east. Their main concern was that the footage shot by the crew in Dubai was not usable and they were too close to their launch date to reshoot. Our job was to salvage the footage in the best way possible and make a presentable video. Worked together with my partner Akshay to help put this together in under a weeks time and the client were rather surprised with the result.
Bfit – Holistic
Scripted, shot and edit for Bfit, a corporate wellness programme. The aim of the video was to display the companies wide range of bite sized exercises that can help alleviate common ailments cause by sitting for extended periods of time. Playing on the commonly used idiom “we got your back” allowed us to be informative without being boring.
Working Hours – Short film
Wrote, directed and edited this short film with the help of my friends. We had a blast making it and we’re currently in the process of rewriting the story to make a longer more drawn out version of the film.
Leverage – Jiu-Jitsu Competition
Leverage 2021 was a stacked event with some of the most elite grapplers in the country participating for a huge cash prize, the first of its kind in India. Considering I have been training Jiu-Jitsu for several years, I was able to pre-emptively find moments that an ordinary camera man wouldn’t be able to. My aim was to capture the tension, action and atmosphere surrounding the event and condense it all down to one film.
Armature – Documentary trailer
In 2019 after returning from Mumbai, I followed my close friend and training partner, Debojit Dasgupta as he made his amateur MMA debut. Debo had been training Jiu-Jitsu for several years and wanted to put his skills to the test inside the cage against strikers.
The film took four years to complete and is my most dense piece of work. I finally released it by hosting a screening for my friends and family. It was also selected for the competition section at the 14th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of kerala (IDSFFK)
